The Detroit Pistons finished their preseason with a 129-125 win over the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, and anyone who wants to see it rather than read about it has the option. Highlight video from the game was posted soon after, and it was pointed to in more than one place. It is the usual courtesy for a night when the games are mostly rehearsal.

The quickest version comes from NBA.com, which put together a package of roughly two minutes covering the whole game. That is enough time to get the shape of a four-point finish without sitting through all of it. For a preseason closer, with rotations being sorted and minutes handed out evenly, that may be the right amount of attention.

The scoring was spread out on both sides. Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 18 points and seven assists in 26 minutes, and Jalen Duren added 14. Ebuka Okorie got 14 points out of only nine minutes off the bench. Ausar Thompson and John Collins each had 12, and Collins also pulled down eight rebounds. Toronto got more from the top of its list. Malachi Smith played a game-high 33 minutes and scored 24, and Trayce Jackson-Davis had 23 in 29 minutes.

The Raptors had plenty of help behind them. Nimari Burnett scored 17 and Alijah Martin 15, Tyson Degenhart had 14 and Tyreke Key 13. Allen Graves grabbed eight rebounds, and Jaden Bradley handed out five assists. It was not quite enough against a Detroit team that kept getting points from a deep bench. The Pistons now turn to the regular season with the finale in hand.
