The Portland Trail Blazers beat the London Lions 119-66 on Monday night, a 53-point margin that was settled long before the benches emptied. It was a preseason game, but the gap was wide enough to look like a mismatch from the start. Portland spread the scoring around and never gave the visitors a stretch to work with.

The game paired a London club with an NBA team, and the difference showed in the numbers. Toumani Camara and Scoot Henderson each scored 14 for Portland, and Camara did it in only 15 minutes. Yang Hansen added 13 with four assists, Sidy Cissoko had 13, and Donovan Clingan put up 11 points and six rebounds. Jeremy Sochan pulled down eight rebounds, the most on the floor.

For London, the night was billed as a historic occasion for the club, and the Lions got through it with a few individual bright spots. Maxwell Lewis led them with 13 points and five rebounds, and Devante Adams scored 12 with four assists. Joel Scott logged a team-high 26 minutes and finished with eight points. As a group, London could not keep pace with the depth Portland kept sending out.

Portland moves to 2-0 in the 2026-27 preseason. Jrue Holiday, Deni Avdija and Ja Morant were among the starters who played short minutes, with Morant handing out five assists in 14. A 53-point win says little about the regular season, but the Blazers will take an unbeaten start.
